The guidance was definitely helpful and it really made me feel a lot more confident and comfortable using Constant Contact. One of the first things with Constant Contact when I started with them was that for the paid subscription, one of their success managers gave me a call to assist me in that first campaign. I wanted to make sure that I had something that was going to not only be able to help me walk through how to set up email campaigns, but also do it in a way that made it easier for me to understand. For myself, since I'm not a marketer or anything like that, I to do a lot of this myself. With it, for a small business owner, it was a very simple use and it's, most importantly, simple to set up.īiggest reason why I chose Constant Contact was, first of all, it was how easy it was to use and set up. So the other one I took a look at was MailChimp, which is great, but I think one of the biggest things was that it was a little more difficult to use as compared to Constant Contact. So at that point, I started taking a look at different types of emailing systems. And then add to that, I wasn't really able to get any analytics as far as whether or not my emails were actually hitting my intended targets and whether or not it was going into spam email. And it was really clunky because with Outlook, in order to create mass emailings, you have to, first of all, create a list within Excel and then create a mass mailing within Microsoft Word, and then upload those Excel.

Prior to using Constant Contact, I actually was running the email campaigns through Microsoft Outlook. I'm an entrepreneur, I'm in the automotive industry, and I give Constant Contact a five star rating.
